Placing motion detectors and cameras together is nothing new, but the problem with selling cameras and motion detecters seperately is that they’re expensive and infficient. You have to pay more for two seperate products that operate on different servers. So when a motion detecter on its own server is set off, the security support center isn’t taken directly to the camera near that motion detector to visually verify the severity of the threat.
Identifying this problem, our technicians integrated a motion detecter and CCTV camera onto the same server, creating the world’s first camera trap. When the motion detecters on our camera traps detect an intruder, our IT professionals in the VideoControlRoom are taken directly to the camera on the scene in real time. They can identify the severity of the situation, intervene if necessary via our public address systems, and alert the proper authorities if the threat escalates. Surprisingly this new, more effeicient product is less expensive to manufacture and distrubute than seperate cameras and motion detectors.
