HOW TO ARM, DISARM AND BYPASS WITH NX KEYPAD

To arm:
Enter PIN or press [ON]
If armed, the red 'armed' light will be illuminated.

To disarm:
Enter PIN
If disarmed, the 'armed' light will turn off.
To partially arm the system:
Press [PARTIAL]
If partially armed, [BYPASS] will be illuminated and the bypassed zones will have their light illuminated.

To bypass an individual zone:
1. Press
2. Optionally enter PIN
3. Enter two-digit code for the zone [eg. for zone 4 enter (0)(4)]
4. The corresponding light for the chosen zone will be illuminated.

To arm:
PIN [OK]
If armed will display will read: office in ON, push [OFF]

To disarm:
PIN [OK]
If disarmed display will read: office in OFF, push [ON]

To bypass a troubled zone:
After pressing the [ON] key, the display may show a message like this:
"Zone Problem Door is in alarm"
It means that the item displayed is either faulty or in an alarm state, and the Area will not turn ON.
Try to rectify the problem before trying again.
If this is not possible, you may be allowed to ISOLATE the item while the "Zone Problem" message is displayed, by pressing the [OK] key.
NOTE: Any inputs isolated in this way will automatically be de-isolated when the Area is next turned OFF.

To arm:
1. Enter PIN, Press [ENTER]
2. Use the up arrow to scroll through areas
3. Press [ARM] (looks like locked padlock)
Also, if enabled, you can hit the right arrow to go to menu group, which if set up, will arm all.

To disarm:
1. Enter PIN, Press [ENTER]
2. Use the up arrow to scroll through areas
3. Press [DISARM] (looks like unlocked padlock)

To arm in AWAY MODE:
PIN [#]
Optionally, simply press and hold the [#] button until two beeps are heard.
If armed in Away Mode, AWAY indicator will be displayed.

To arm in STAY MODE 1:
PIN [*]
Optionally, simply press and hold the [*] button until two beeps are heard.
If armed in Stay Mode 1, STAY Mode 1 indicator will flash until exit time expires.
NOTE: Zones for Stay Mode 1 can only be progammed by your security company.

To arm in STAY MODE 2:
Press and hold the [0] button until two beeps are heard.
If armed in Stay Mode 2, STAY indicator will be displayed.

Programming zones for STAY MODE 2:
1. Enter your Master Code followed by the 8 and # buttons ([PIN] + [8] + [#])
Three beeps will be heard and the STAY indicator will begin to flash.
2. Enter the zone number you wish to isolate, followed by the * button (eg. For zone 2: [2] + [*])
If you make a mistake, simply enter the zone number followed by the # button to clear the incorrect zone.
3. Repeat step 2 for all zones you wish to isolate. 4. Press the # button once you have selected the zones to automatically isolate for STAY Mode 2.
Two beeps will be heard.

To bypass a zone:
Before arming the system, do the following:
1. Press the [#] button twice to enter isolating mode. Three beeps will be heard and the STAY indicator will flash.
2. Enter the zone number (1 - 16) you wish to isolate, followed by the [*] button.
3. Repeat step 2 for each zone to bypass. As you select each zone you will notice the corresponding zone indicator will flash.
4. Press the [#] button once all desired zones have been entered. Two beeps will be heard and the system will return to disarmed state.
